i LOVE getting packages in the mail. it's so exciting kinda like christmas morning. today my old navy goodies arrived.
the first item was a little on the big side. so i'm not sure if i'll send it back to exchange or just keep it and have it be baggy.?.
cute, cheap, light skirt for summer. it's going to be a while for this one but it was only like $12!
and running pants. i have been wanting a pair of these for a LONG time and finally bit the bullet and bought one. they fit perfectly!
we needed some tahini for hummus making so i took the kiddos to whole foods tonight. there are sooo many yummy snacks to just waiting to be purchased there. we fell victim to their assorted bulk cookies. mexican wedding cake, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich cookie, a fudgy one and a pecan yummy.
and i've had these chips a time or 2 and just love how simple and delicious they are. paisley ate one and immediately said "they don't have any flavor mom!" more for me:)
at our relief society activity tonight we made these simple and cute little cups to keep magnetted to the fridge so that the kids can get their own drink as needed. i love this idea. hopefully they last a while and don't get abused. my kids can be very hard on things.
do you like sweet potato chips? fries?
what was the last thing you mail ordered?
the workout:
4 mile run
1 hour cycle class - ladders. i was dripping 10 minutes into it:)
20 minutes chest, tris and shoulders
45 minutes family fitness class - a very light workout
stretch
"bad" food
shortbread cookie
dark chocolate raisins
tortilla chips
homemade chocolate chip cookie
small fudgy cookie
I'm loving the workout pants!
ReplyDeleteI've been ordering lots of pro compression socks, and it really is like Christmas when getting them in the mail :D
Oooo i need to try compression socks i think. that may be my next "to order" item also:)
ReplyDeletei'm always mail-ordering something! i love it. we have an Amazon Prime membership, so i can order any Prime object and it will be on my doorstep in 2 days, for free. totally worth it, for unique kids' birthday gifts, DVDs, books, whatever...
ReplyDeletefor clothes i'm an Ebayer, but you knew that right? :) but i have loved Lands End for kids stuff recently. when they have sweet sales and free shipping too, their stuff can be super cheap, but still great quality.
matt has a student prime membership. so it's a little different but i think i can still order things with 2 day shipping. i'll have to look into that. and lands end too. i heard some good news about our long blond haired friend julie:D stoked!
ReplyDeleteWhat do you think about the ON workout pants? I have been considering ordering some maternity ones, just for spin/weights (I can only trust certain pants to not chafe on the run), but was nervous because the maternity is only via mail, so if they don't work, it is a pain to return!
ReplyDeletei know! crazy, huh?? so excited for her!
ReplyDeleteso far i am 3 for 3 with their pants. would be 4 but i think i'll return the too big pair. they fit really well and stay up. one pair is fold over but it is poly/spandex (hate cotton) and they are great. i wonder if you could order online but return to the store? julie - sooo excited for you two.
