happy friday eve.
and it really is a friday eve at the hartranft home because matt has tomorrow off of school. sometimes he gets every other friday off because his professor has his kid every other weekend.
we normally go to our church every thursday morning for a playgroup. well we went today but had missed a call on the way. i am terrible at hearing/answering my phone. when we got there i didn't see any cars i recognized and turns out all the usuals were sick and one just had a baby. so we were all alone today. having put forth the effort and driving 15 minutes to the church we decided to stay and play in the nursery with all the toys anyway. fun fun.
this afternoon i did something i hadn't done in sooo long. almost a year i think.
i bought a few itunes. just a few though as they run $1.29 a pop. but any and every new workout song is greatly noticed on my ipod. i have a mix of about 350 songs on there that i always keep on shuffle.
i know i know that this song is 100% played out on the radio but i can't help but sing to it as loud as i can whenever i hear it in the car, which is quite often. but i STILL love it. i have never bought a taylor swift song before as they are usually not ones that would pump me up. but i'm sure this one will. in fact it came on 3rd in my shuffle during my run. i may or may not have repeated it;) mission accomplished!
how often do you update your music? playlists?
what are your favorite tunes to run or workout to?
- i LOVE pop stuff for that. i realize i am not 16 anymore but the upbeats seriously make me run faster and work harder. it makes matt want to gag.
the workout:
5 mile run
50 minute cycle class
30 minutes tabata - cardio and abs
25 minutes weights - back and biceps
stretch
"bad" food:
jelly beans
dark chocolate raisins

I'm not a big fan of Taylor, but I gotta say, her new album is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI listen to a lot of RnB while running.. a lot of ne yo lately, his older stuff!
