*ive been informed yet again that there has been some trouble commenting on my blog.
i'm really not sure what that's about so i apologize and i hope you'll still stop by and keep trying while i try to figure out what's wrong.
i foresee having a rough night of sleep ahead of me tonight.
i send my firstborn to public school tomorrow for the first time.
i am a little nervous.
but mostly just stoked for her.
she is going to learn so much and hopefully make so many new friends.
our family's life will never be the same again.
we are moving on and growing up.
yes we, me included.
more responsibility and structure to our days.
i am beyond excited to have some time with little emmett who has never had alone time (for more than an hour or two every once in a while).
he will grow and become a new little person too i think.
we had a very laid back labor day.
an early gym time this am (really loving going earlier and getting used to it again).
and then i made some homemade potato salad to take to a bbq with friends.
i always make it the same way but i never measure the ingredients if that makes sense.
people claimed to love it. so maybe i will share the recipe soon.
we met some new people tonight and also saw familiar friends too.
it was a perfect end to a great summer.
hard to believe it's over.
(some of) the kiddos.
i just thought this was too sweet.
they all had so much fun talking and laughing together.
i'll leave you with this tonight,
take time to enjoy the ordinary in your every day life.
if something were to happen to disrupt your life, friends, family, routine, what would you miss the most?
sounds, smells, sights, people, drives?
focus on what makes your day unique to you and find joy in it any way you can.
what is something that you look forward to everyday?
